Edward Cooke Family Law is delighted to be ranked in The Legal 500 as a Leading Firm for Family Law in Kent, Surrey and Sussex and, for managing director Edward Cooke and directors Lauren Guy and Michelle Lewis, as Recommended Lawyers.

The Legal 500 explained

For over 34 years, The Legal 500 has independently reviewed and analysed the capabilities of law firms across the world to compile the highly respected Legal 500 rankings, which enable clients to consider independent verification and validation of firms they may be considering, in order to make informed decisions about their strengths, capabilities and specialisms.

The list is compiled by a team of researchers who have unrivalled experience in the legal market, drawing on a variety of inputs, including client feedback and interviews with leading private practice lawyers, assessing firms against a series of criteria.

The Legal 500 – Our Profile

It is a real source of pride to be recognised in The Legal 500 for a second year, and so soon after our launch in 2018. This year sees our ranking enhanced, moving us from a Tier 4 to a Tier 3 firm and, in addition all three of our Directors listed as Recommended Lawyers.

Founded by Edward Cooke in 2018, Edward Cooke Family Law is a specialist family law firm with offices in Chichester and Brighton. In addition to being an accredited mediator, Cooke is also an experienced child inclusive mediator. Lauren Guy has particular expertise in private children work, including cases involving drug and alcohol abuse, non-accidental injuries, domestic abuse and parental alienation. Michelle Lewis handles both matrimonial finance and private law children matters, dealing with all ranges of finances and complexities.
