We are pleased to once again support the Family Mediation Council’s Family Mediation Week.  
 
Family Mediation Week is an annual event run by the Family Mediation Council (FMC), the umbrella organisation for national family mediation organisations in England and Wales, including Resolution, a nationwide organisation of family justice professionals. 
 
This year, Family Mediation Week is taking place from 16 - 20 January. Throughout the week, the team at Edward Cooke Family Law will support the work of the FMC and help raise awareness of family mediation and the considerable benefits it can have for those who wish to resolve family issues in a safe and neutral environment, providing a less adversarial and less expensive alternative to the court process.  
 
Our wish is to continue to equip separating couples with knowledge and awareness of family mediation, to help them move forward in a positive way and make informed decisions for their family. 
 
At Edward Cooke Family Law, we are pleased to offer a dedicated mediation service at our Chilgrove (near Chichester), Brighton & Hove, and Petersfield offices, as well as online. Our qualified and experienced mediators, Edward Cooke, Michelle Lewis, Lauren Guy and Hannah Rogers help many families each year through family mediation, alongside the full range of family law services we provide.
