Edward Cooke raises over £2,650 for Support Through Court
24 April 2025

Edward Cooke was delighted to learn that he had raised over £2,650 for charity Support Through Court by running the London Landmarks Half Marathon earlier this month.
Through a combination of kind donations on his JustGiving page and funds raised through a quiz night run in Brighton by the firm ahead of the event, this fantastic total will make a huge difference to nominated charity, Support Through Court.
Emma Rushworth, from the Support Through Court Corporate Fundraising Team, congratulated Edward on his achievement:
“You raised an amazing £2,650 across JustGiving and your quiz night which will support over 83 in person support sessions or 530 online support sessions. This is an enormous contribution and will help so many people facing court alone, so thank you. We loved seeing the pictures from the day and are so pleased you enjoyed the run and thank you again for all your support.”
Edward Cooke commented on the event:
“It was sometimes tough to fit in the training around a busy start to 2025, but I was delighted to complete the Half Marathon in 2:02 (spookily my hotel room number ahead of the run was 202, so this was perhaps meant to be!).
An incredible atmosphere on a warm and sunny Spring day made for a wonderful event and a mostly enjoyable run! I won’t deny there were a few moments where I had to dig deep! I was pleased to bump into fellow solicitors and barristers running for Support Through Court. It is a real pleasure to know the sum raised through everyone’s kind generosity will have such far reaching impact.”
