Founder Edward Cooke has once again been recognised nationally for his expertise in child-inclusive mediation, as a finalist in the National Mediation Awards 2024.

The National Mediation Awards, London 2024

The National Mediation Awards 2024 are a collaboration between the Civil Mediation Council, Family Mediation Council and College of Mediators, celebrating excellence amongst commercial, civil, family and community mediators, mediation trainers and providers.

The finalists have been carefully selected by an independent panel of Judges, consisting of Chair Rosemary Jackson, Deputy Chair Amrik Kandola, and distinguished Judges Alice Matthews, Angela Lake-Carroll, Beverley Vara, Bode Adeloye, Denise Ingamells, Duncan Jarrett, Emma McAndry, Gillian Caroe, Joe-han Ho, Liz Rivers, Mandy Lenton, Pablo Cortes, Pam Hatfield, Sarah O'Connor, and Sophie Webster.

Mediator, former BBC News Anchor and presenter Joanna Gosling, will host the award ceremony for a second time, which will take place in London in December and will be live-streamed worldwide. Not only does the event celebrate best practice across all areas of mediation, it also seeks to raise awareness of mediation and the myriad benefits it brings across all sectors.

Joanna Gosling commented on the awards:

“I am thrilled to be hosting the National Mediation Awards again this year. I’m passionate about mediation and its potential to help people resolve difficult situations and conflict, and I am looking forward to spending an evening with the best of the best, who are working to achieve this."

Recognition for Edward Cooke’s child-inclusive mediation expertise

Edward commented on the news:

"I am delighted to have been shortlisted for a second time in the Child-Inclusive award category. Making sure that children’s voices can be heard in the process of separation and divorce is so vital to the work that we do in modern family law practice, helping families to achieve the best outcomes possible for everyone impacted.

My fellow finalists, Leah Caldwell and Mabel Edge are both highly regarded mediators, so it is an honour to be shortlisted alongside them and wish them all the best on the evening.”
