27 June 2023
We are delighted to announce that Founder and Managing Director Edward Cooke has been shortlisted for the Children’s Champion Award at the prestigious Resolution Awards 2023, alongside two very highly regarded nominees, Solicitor Nina Hansen and Co-Parent Coach Marcie Shaoul.
Resolution Awards 2023
Resolution defines the annual awards as celebrating the very best talent, innovation and pioneering practice from the wide spectrum of family justice professionals that makes up Resolution’s broad church membership. This year’s finalists have been selected by an expert judging panel from across the sector, who deliberated on the many outstanding entries submitted.
The Resolution awards are the only values-driven awards in the family justice profession, recognising those individuals that go above and beyond to show a commitment to upholding and championing Resolution’s Code of Practice.
Resolution Awards Ceremony and Winners Announced 13 September 2023
To celebrate Resolution’s 40th anniversary, this year will be the organisation’s largest-ever awards, and the winners will be announced by Joshua Rozenberg, Britain’s best-known legal commentator at the inaugural gala awards dinner in London on 13 September. With ten categories, including five new awards, this year’s celebration reflects the breadth of contributions Resolution members make, and the diversity of the community. An honour to be shortlisted for Children’s Champion Award
Edward was delighted to hear he had been shortlisted for the Children’s Champion Award:
“Being shortlisted for this award is a real honour, particularly given the calibre of my highly respected fellow nominees, Solicitor Nina Hansen and Co-Parent Coach Marcie Shaoul.
Giving children a true voice in the process and reducing conflict wherever we can are central to all our approaches and either nominee would be a very worthy winner.
The team at Edward Cooke Family Law work very hard to champion children in all the cases we are involved in, in a safe and inclusive way, and I thank them all for their continued hard work each day to honour this approach.
I am thrilled to have been nominated and wish my fellow nominees all the best.”
