Hannah Rogers becomes fourth Resolution-trained mediator at Edward Cooke Family Law
12 January 2023
We are delighted to announce that Hannah Rogers, a family solicitor in our team at our Chilgrove office has recently passed the Resolution mediation training course and therefore is the fourth mediator in our team. Hannah is now offering mediation at our Chilgrove office and, by appointment, in Petersfield and central Chichester.
Hannah has made a significant impact since joining the firm last year and as a Resolution-trained mediator, will now offer family mediation in addition to assisting with a range of family matters, including divorce, matrimonial finance, children matters and cohabitation disputes.
Hannah commented on her role:
“Building on my experience as a family lawyer, I am pleased to now offer mediation to our clients as they manage the breakdown of a relationship or other family matter. Mediation is highly effective in resolving a wide range of family matters, creating constructive opportunities for discussion and resolution, and avoiding court wherever possible.”
Four Resolution-trained Mediators at Edward Cooke Family Law
Resolution mediation training is nationally recognised and provides the most robust, quality standards of training. Family mediation practice is a professional activity, governed by the Family Mediation Council to ensure continued best practice, an approach which is in tune with our commitment as a firm to provide the very best for our clients and assures clients of the skill and experience of our mediators.
Hannah joins Edward Cooke, Michelle Lewis and Lauren Guy, all of whom completed their mediation training with Resolution.
Edward commented on the news:
“We are proud to provide modern approaches to family law matters, and mediation forms a central part of this. With four Resolution-trained mediators now at the firm, we are pleased to further strengthen our provision of mediation and legal services across the full spectrum of family matters.
Our commitment to the ongoing development and cross-training of our team enables us to provide a truly bespoke service to meet the individual needs to all our clients. Hannah is a welcome addition to our growing firm and we are delighted to have her on board.”
Edward Cooke Family Law Mediation Service
Our mediation service is conducted in discreet, comfortable rooms in Chilgrove, Brighton, Petersfield or Chichester, or can be offered online via Zoom if preferred.
When a relationship breaks down, Family Mediation is an excellent way to resolve all of the issues that arise in a safe and neutral environment - and in a much more cost-effective way than an adversarial court process.
This is a robust and rigorous process. Where financial issues are discussed, in most cases the same financial information (“financial disclosure”) will be provided as in any other process, including the court process.
